Overview
Ndali Lodge is in Western Uganda, 23km south of Fort portal town overlooking Nyinambuga Crater Lake and the Rwenzori mountains to the west in Kibale National Park. In addition, it is approximately 45minutes from the Kibale National Park.
About the lodge
More to that, Ndali Lodge is a fantastic traditional colonial lodge in the stunning crater region. Having a composition of local stone and thatch, the 8 luxury bandas offer views over the dramatic Rwenzori Mountains. In addition, each banda is en-suite with a private veranda. Also, the dining room and lounge offer relaxing views over the crater lake below.
Additionally, this is a great base from where to track the chimpanzees of Kibale Forest. Interestingly, at Ndali Lodge, all lighting is by candle or storm lantern. However, hot and cold running water is always available.
Interestingly, Ndali Lodge lies in a stunning location on the rim an extinct volcano which is now full of water- the breathtaking Lake Nyinambuga( 250 acres in size and 130 metres deep).
Facilities and services
First of all, the lodge has over 8 grass thatched cottages with a 16 occupant accommodating capacity. Furthermore, these cottages offer privacy and tranquility for the guests and all offering panoramic views of the mountains of the Moon (Rwenzori mountains). Also, each cottage has a classic and comfortable setup with en-suite bathroom, mosquito net and much more.
Also, there is free ample parking space, WIFI, daily housekeeping, and laundry services at the Lodge. It has the following;
