This 5 Days Masai Mara and Bwindi safari trip gives you the opportunity to discover the unique tourist destinations in Uganda and Kenya. A safari of lifetime with the combination of wildlife and mountain gorillas You will also have an opportunity to see numerous wild species primates species, such as Patas monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, African big five those are Lions, Leopards, Elephants, Buffaloes and Rhinos. Detailed itinerary for the 5 Days Masai Mara and Bwindi safari

Day 1: Pick up from hotel in Nairobi/airport and transfer to Masai Mara.

To begin with, our driver guide will meet you early in the morning at your hotel or airport upon arrival to Kenya. Then he will warmly welcome you to the safari. Thereafter, he will go through the itinerary with you before putting your luggage into our safari car. You will then embark on your journey with smooth drive to Masai Mara national reserve through the great rift valley region.

We will have brief stop overs along the local Maasai communities, we have a shopping stop at Narok town the Maasai largest town. Continue with our drive to the park have en-route game viewing as we continue to our lodge. We reach in in the afternoon check in with a refreshing glass of juice by the lodge staff. Have our lunch served, after lunch we go for afternoon game drive in search for our first encounter at the wilderness.

We have chance to encounter the African wildlife especially the big five Lions, leopards, Rhinos, Elephants and Buffaloes. Other game include wildebeests, hyenas, jackals, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, Zebras, gazelles and many others. We then return back to our lodge, dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Morning and afternoon game drives.

Start our day with healthy African breakfast, after breakfast we enter in to the juggle for the much long awaited highlight of our safari. Our experienced driver guide will help you spot wildlife as many as possible. Birders are never left behind with more bird species to enjoy during your morning game drives. You will be driving through busy tracks at the park with emphasis of looking for rare big game.

Later in late morning we drive back to our lodge for a rest as we wait for our lunch. In the evening go for another encounter in the wilderness as we look to rap up the African big five. We can opt for the local community visit to share experience with the Maasai people. Dinner and overnight at our lodge.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi via Kisumu and Entebbe.

Wake up early for our breakfast then check out of the lodge and drive to Kisumu airfield to catch up with our flight to Entebbe and connect with Aero link to Bwindi. Our driver guide will be at Kihihi airstrip waiting for you. Upon arrival you will be transferred to Bwindi to our lodge, the temperatures change with much cold fresh breeze of the rainforests welcoming you. Have a relaxing evening with an option of community visit around the lodge. Dinner and overnight at our lodge

Day 4: Gorilla tracking

At 7:45 a.m. you can have an early morning breakfast and travel to the headquarters of the Park to join other trackers in a briefing on the rules of gorilla trekking. Under guidance from the best, most highly trained people for the job, you find yourself face-to-face with something that seems so unequivocally human, it takes your breath away.

An early start and a trek through dense rainforest is totally worth it for the privilege of spending an hour with these fascinating mammals. Youngsters may show off and huge silverbacks may beat their chests, but nothing beats just witnessing a gorilla family as they go about their daily business, chomp on bamboo, and watch you in return. It is no wonder that a gorilla trekking safari is often referred to as ‘the most memorable in the world’. In addition you will be able to see numerous bird species, including kingfisher, blue breasted kingfisher and others.

After tracking you will return to our lodge for the relaxing evening. Depending on our choice we can opt for evening community walk. Visit some community projects like schools, orphanages and others. Come back to our lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Transfer to Airport

Wake up very early and transfer to Entebbe for our late night flight. We will have a brief stop at Mbarara for lunch. We will also stop at Equator for the pictures then proceed to Entebbe to catch up with your flight
