DAY BY DAY ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival and Pickup from the Airport
Upon your arrival at the airport, a warm welcome awaits you from a representative of Pamoja Tours and Travel. You will be smoothly transferred to the luxurious Kampala Serena Hotel in the bustling city of Kampala, ensuring a comfortable start to your safari adventure.
Optional Activities:
Depending on your arrival time, consider exploring Kampala through a city tour. Discover historical and political sites, such as the ancient tombs of the Kabakas, where the Buganda people lay their kings to rest or visit the Bahai Temple. If you’re feeling adventurous, venture out to taste the eclectic cuisine of the region, including Kampala’s delicious Indian food.

Day 2: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
After an early breakfast, your guide will brief you on the safari before transferring you to the enchanting Kibale National Park. Enjoy the scenic drive through villages, lush green forests, and hills dotted with tea plantations. Your accommodation at Turaco Tree Tops, a mid-range lodge bordering Kibale NP, offers spacious rooms and breathtaking views.

Day 3: Chimp Trekking and Bigodi Swamp Walk
Embark on an early morning chimp tracking experience in Kibale Forest National Park, home to the highest number of primate species globally, including chimpanzees. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided swamp walk in Bigodi, offering picturesque landscapes and interactions with the local community.
