This 5 days pearl of Africa Bird watching safari takes you through Entebbe, Mabamba wetland, and Lake Mburo National park. The tour starts with Uganda Wildlife Education Center, Botanical gardens, Mabamba wetlands, and Lake Mburo National park.

Day 1. Bird watching at Uganda Wildlife Education Center and Botanical Gardens
Your 5 days pearl of Africa Bird watching safari starts with the pick up by our driver/guide who will drive you to UWEC formerly known as the zoo. This place has over 170 bird species including the golden-backed, masked weaver, African paradise, crested shrike flycatcher to mention but a few. Then transfer to Botanical gardens for more birding.
After lunch, you will visit the sewage lagoons and then return for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2. Mabamba experience
After an early breakfast, you will be driven by our guide to mabamba wetland which is the common all where you can find the rare shoebill stock in Uganda. Upon arrival, you will be briefed by the site guide and then you go for a canoe ride in search of birds such as shoebill stock, African Jacana, purple heron, pygmy goose among others, and on a lucky day, you may spot a Sitatunga Antelope. After you will go for lunch and then transfer back to Entebbe for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3. Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
Today after your hearty breakfast, you will be picked up and transferred to Lake Mburo National Park. We shall have a stop at the Equator where you will perform a simple experiment to experience a tropical balance, have a look at the traditional drums and crafts being made, and thereafter proceed to Lake Mburo National Park, an extension of the Tanzanian plains with big herds of zebra, impala, eland, and other ungulates. Bird viewing opportunities are excellent – for birders, this is one of the best places to find African fin foot, papyrus bush shrike.
Check-in at your lodge and Have Lunch; enjoy the whole evening relaxing at the Lodge as you’re watching birds around.

Day 4. Birding with an evening game drive
After an early breakfast, you will go for a nature walk encountering several species of wetland savanna species of birds and the impalas as well. You expect to watch localized red-faced barbet, black collared Barbet, Lead colored flycatcher among others. Thereafter you will come back for lunch and in the evening you will head out for a game drive in search of wildlife such as elands, buffaloes, impalas among others. Thereafter, you will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5. Morning Boat cruise and transfer back to Kampala/Entebbe
Today marks the end of your 5 days on the pearl of Africa Bird watching safari. After breakfast, take a morning boat ride in search of water-loving wildlife species and birds which includes the crocodile, hippos, water buffaloes, and bird species such as pied kingfisher, African fish eagle among others.
After, you will drive back to Kampala with en-route lunch at the equator and tropical balance experience hence the end of your 5 days pearl of Africa Bird watching safari.
