The swimming pool at Chobe Safari Lodge is the most unique of its kind; it features 3 separate ‘tiers’ of the pool, giving you the choice of more privacy when you swim. Each tier boasts the same, magnificent panoramic view of the River Nile on it’s journey from Karuma Falls to Murchison Falls.
There is even a pool bar – “Rapids”. Sip a cocktail in the water or on one of the loungers while overlooking the River Nile below at sunset. Priceless!

Dining in the Karama restaurant is a unique experience where modern interior décor blends with the safari feel. ZEN elements of flowing streams of water can be seen from inside the restaurant in the air-conditioned interior.
For those who like dining out doors, the terrace is a scenic setting with spectacular panoramic views across the River Nile. After dining, the Karuma bar is right next door to the restaurant and is the perfect setting for a nigh- cap or aperitif!
Traveling business executives
The Business Service Centre is open from 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week. It meets all the needs of the traveling business executive and includes 24-hour Internet access as well as printing facilities.
Please ask at reception for Internet usage rates and other queries. – In house guests have free access to internet for 30minutes included in their stay.

The Karuma Bar is located in the central part of the lodge. With large glass windows facing the terrace and river below, the Karuma bar is the perfect meeting point after a long day on safari, or before and after dining.

Chobe Safari Lodge features 36 elegant guest rooms, 21 luxury tents, 4 suites and a Presidential Cottage.
The River Nile is the main focus from an architect’s perspective, and so all the rooms and luxury tents have balconies and terraces facing the magnificent sweeping views.

The wildlife biodiversity in Murchison Falls National Park contains the most astonishing number of species. 76 types of mammals and also 451 different birds.
The River Nile, on its journey from Murchison Falls, attracts a whole host of different wildlife. These include crocodiles, hippos, and also water birds. Other animals include lion, warthogs, buffalo, rare aquatic sitatunga antelope, giant forest hog. There is also Uganda kob, topi, waterbuck, elephant, and also the leopard.
