Overview
First of all, Isunga lodge is a mid-range lodge that lies on the boundary of Kibale Forest National park (famous for harboring the enormous chimpanzee population Park) in Western Uganda. Secondly, it is approximately 26km from Fort Portal town and about a 5hr drive from Kampala city.
In line with the foregoing, Isunga Lodge has got over 8 tranquil cottages that have a reason distance from one another for guests’ privacy and serenity. Furthermore, there are single, double, triple and family cottages that sit on elevated points which offers great views of the beautiful rainforest, the savannahs of Queen Elizabeth and the Rwenzori Mountains. Also, the en-suit cottages have very comfortable beds, mosquito nets, flush toilets, hot water showers and solar power.
