Overview
Kibale Forest camp is a safari lodge outside the Southern part of Kibale Forest National Park. It is bordering Magombe Swamp, famous for the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. The sanctuary is just a 10minutes drive to Kanyanchu Visitor Center, where your Chimpanzee Tracking begins. Furthermore, it is between the evergreen forests of Kibale National Park.
Kibale Forest Camp consists of over 12 African safari Tents tucked away in a lush forest offering you a great touch feeling of an African safari. The Tents are well furnished with twin or double beds. Each unit consisting of comfortable beds, bedside tables, linen, towels, power outlet for charging your phone or any other electrical equipment. There is also a private bathroom, a dressing room, hot water shower and much more.
However, there is as well thatched non self-contained tents at the Camp these share one shower and a flushing toilet.
All the tents are in a position that offers you panoramic views of the Park with its primates, different birds/butterfly species, the Crater Lake and the Red/black/white colobus that are often in sight in the dense Camp surroundings.
Kibale Forest Camp is has an outstanding Bar/lounge and a Restaurant which as well offers free daily breakfast. There is also;
