Lake Naivasha sopa lodge
A Luxury accommodation in Lake Naivasha National park situated on the shores of Lake Naivasha, a fresh water lake whose surface area depends on the rainfall, the resort is 125kms from Nairobi or just over an hour’s drive on tarmac roads.
With Sopa’s traditional and conscientious care for the environment, we carefully positioned all the buildings on our property so we did not have to fell any of the many trees there. As a result of this, we had to come up with a radically innovative and artistic design for the main public area building which now snakes its way between the trees with long and graceful curves.
It is also why you might well ask just why our two swimming pools with a children’s section and a pool complex with its bar, snack kitchen, pizzeria, tennis court, and our conference halls with their six differently sized meeting areas, and our stables are so widely set apart.
Rooms
Cottages built in a crescent shape, and each has 4 rooms, totaling 82 rooms.
2 of these rooms are suitable for the physically challenged.
6 of the 21 cottages have inter-connecting rooms on the ground floor.
The exterior walls of the cottages have stone walls giving it character and creepers and bougainvilleas add a lot of color. The same stone work is carried into the rooms and also the exterior bathroom wall. The banister going up the top floor is wrought iron. The same creepers and bougainvilleas are entwined around them.
Our double storey guest cottages with their ingeniously designed roofs gently sweep away from one side of the main building to form a crescent which leads towards the lake shore. While the upstairs guest rooms have a single king size bed and the downstairs ones have two queen size beds, both have one thing in common and that is an extraordinary amount of space as well as lavishly appointed bathrooms.
Ground floor rooms have 2 queen size beds and a sunken living room at the front which opens out on to the beautifully manicured lawns.
Top floor rooms have 1 king size bed and in front of it a balcony which has a beautifully designed wrought iron railing and furniture to match. This faces the lawns as well.
All rooms have large frontal windows; televisions; mini-bars; telephones; electronic safes; tea and coffee making facilities; and spacious, open air verandas.

Unique business suite room category allows you to combine business travel and a family vacation. A sliding door separates bedrooms and the sitting room area making it ideal for a family or business set up.
The spacious rooms feature an in-room private safe, a state-of-the-art bathroom with both shower and bathtub options, a sofa convertible bed in the sitting room, flat screen TV, coffee/tea maker and other facilities.
Guests have access to interconnecting rooms and a balcony facing the lush green gardens.
Business Deluxe
The business deluxe rooms are spacious enough and set to great comfort that meets our guests’ expectations. The rooms have both shower and bathtub options, coffee/ tea maker, flat screen TV and a kitchenette. Guests can choose to stay at the wings near the swimming pool orat the far end of our grounds.

Kiboko Luxury Camp
Kiboko Luxury Camp Naivasha is a Luxury accommodation in Lake Naivasha National park. The luxury tented camp is located on the shores of Lake Naivasha and close to the Hell’s Gate National Park. Lake Naivasha, a famous Kenya safari destination, is an approximate 2 hour drive from Nairobi. It lies at the heart of the Great Rift Valley on Kenya safari. Nearby are the Lake Elementaita, Lake Nakuru and Lake Bogoria.
Kiboko Luxury Camp Naivasha is the first all-inclusive luxury camp on the shores of Lake Naivasha with only eight luxury tents. The tents are approximately 60 square metres, with en-suite bathrooms, within the sprawling ground of the Lake Naivasha.
The camp offers unlimited soft beverages, wines, local beers, tea and also coffee. There is a nature walk during your stay with the resident guide and ornithologist, as well as high speed internet.
Kiboko Luxury Camp is 7.8km from the centre of Naivasha , the nearest airport 74km (Wilson Airport).
