3.Beho Beho

Luxury Accommodation in Nyerere NP

Beho Beho is certainly a Luxury Accommodation in Nyerere NP that is in the top three in East Africa if not Africa at the moment…they have been leading the way for the last few years in the Selous. Great location, up in the Beho Beho hills, away from the relative “traffic” in the park’s centre. Great game viewing, with lion prides to the east and west and elephant wandering through the small valley below. Excellent service, also something that they pride themselves on.

Layout

Superlatives really tend to fail us when talking about Beho Beho. Where other camps in the park score highly in certain aspects (such as game viewing, or service, or location), Beho Beho manages to tick all of the boxes. The guiding and game around the camp will satisfy even the most ardent of safari-philes. The rooms and communal areas will definitely tick the boxes of those looking for understated luxury. Finally, the food and service will content even the most fussy of eaters or hard to please!

Activities

Originally used as a hunting camp (a long time ago), Beho Beho, today, has the feel of a camp that has been in its location for years. The river stone that they have used to construct the sumptuous rooms and main buildings blends perfectly with the bush surroundings

It is true that the price tag is higher than other camps in the park but, for your once in a lifetime trip, we would argue. Those why not spend a little more and make it something that you will aspire to for the rest of your life, rather than something memorable!
