3 Days Uganda gorilla trekking safari in Bwindi is designed for adventure travelers with those 3 extra days off their schedules. East Africa’s memorable trip in one of Uganda’s remaining natural forests takes you to see the gentle giants deep down in the jungle of Bwindi; their natural home.

In this 3-days gorilla trekking safari in Uganda, You begin off the journey with a pick-up from Kampala-Uganda then drive southwest of Kampala. You will pass via Lake Mburo and Queen Elizabeth National parks with lots of sightings along the way.

Gorilla trekking in Uganda is particularly done in Bwindi impenetrable forest and Mgahinga National Park.  The main sectors of Bwindi are; Buhoma, Ruhija, Nkuringo and also Rushaga. Additionally,  Mgahinga Gorilla national park is also famous for golden monkey tracking. There are  8-trekkers in each gorilla trekking family of which a ranger guide and guard are assigned to lead each group of trekkers to the gorillas in the forest.

Note: Before you pack your bag to come on a gorilla trekking safari, Unquestionably, make sure you have done some physical training with running up hills and some pressure ups.

3 Days of Bwindi gorilla trekking and Lake Bunyonyi safari

The 3 Days gorilla tracking Bwindi safari package takes you through adventurous, memorable, and also relaxing moments. You will not only have chances to the thrilling but also exciting mountain gorilla tracking expedition.  Additionally, the adventurous driving takes you through the hilly areas of Kisoro – Kabale in the Southwestern part of Uganda. In addition, after your morning breakfast on day 3, You will go canoeing on Lake Bunyonyi.

Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Firstly, you will be picked up from the hotel by our driver guide at exactly 7:00 am to start the trip. We shall have a brief stopover at the Uganda Equator for breakfast and the equator experience. Furthermore, proceed to Mbarara town for lunch at Agip Motel.

Day 2: 3 Days of Bwindi gorilla trekking and Lake Bunyonyi Kabale Experience

After having the morning breakfast, report to the Bwindi park headquarters by exactly 7:30 am for brief highlights and guidelines or rules about the mountain gorilla trekking etiquette. After the brief highlights at the entrance of the park, the giant gorilla tracking shall commence.

We shall penetrate the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to look for these gentle giant mountain gorillas under the guidance of a trained, knowledgeable and experienced guide.

Furthermore, Time taken tracking highly depends on how fast you will locate a gorilla family and it can take us a few minutes or even an entire day. We shall return from the highly tiresome adventure to relaxation.

Upon completion of the gorilla tracking activities, we shall drive through the terraced hills and finally head to Lake Bunyonyi for a comfortable and great relaxing time at Bunyonyi Rock Resort.

Day 3: Canoeing on Lake Bunyonyi and travel back to Kampala

Last but not least, you will have an early morning breakfast then go canoeing on Lake Bunyonyi and finally drive back to Kampala after lunch en-route.
